Georgetown entered their tilt with Block on Tuesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Bears a 7-0 shutout. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by seven runs or more this season.

Georgetown's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-10. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Block, their loss dropped their record down to 4-21.

Coming up, Georgetown will square off against Starks on Wednesday. Block does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
