On Friday, The Syracuse Titans faced the Bingham Miners in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Syracuse fell 29-21 to Bingham. Syracuse has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Among those leading the charge was Triston Brimhall, who rushed for 139 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. Brimhall was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 50 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Swensen, who rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown.
Syracuse's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Bingham, their win was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-5.
Syracuse does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bingham will take on American Fork at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. American Fork is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
