Notre Dame was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Baker Gators, falling 18-8. Even though they lost, the Fighting Irish's still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.3 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Garrett Sullivan was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-5. Another player making a difference was Matthew Nausley, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Notre Dame's record now sits at 2-5. As for Baker, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.

Coming up, Notre Dame will venture away from home to challenge Aletheia Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Notre Dame is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season. As for Baker, they will be playing at home against Northview at 6:30 p.m. on March 24th. Northview also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 6.4 runs per game.
