Hall-Dale is 8-2 against Lisbon since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the Greyhounds at 4:00 p.m. Hall-Dale's pitching crew has only allowed 1.9 runs per game this season, so Lisbon's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Hall-Dale fell victim to Monmouth Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Hall-Dale saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Torie Tibbetts, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, in Thursday's Canine Competition, Lisbon prevailed. Everything went their way against Madison on Thursday as they made off with an 18-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Greyhounds, who have now won five matches by 11 runs or more so far this season.

Julia Quagliaroli was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ava Kottmann, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.

Hall-Dale's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 11-2. As for Lisbon, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.

Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Hall-Dale has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.1 hits per game. However, it's not like Lisbon struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.5 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Hall-Dale took their win against Lisbon in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 8-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
