Crete waltzed into their match  on Tuesday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They never let the Milford Eagles get on the board and left with  a   7-0  win. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 games by six  runs or more this season.
 Madynn Dunham made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Kacey Dunaway was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  double. She has been hot, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last six times she's  played.  Logan Ochinero was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  RBI.
 Crete  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least nine  hits in four consecutive  contests.
Crete's victory bumped their record up to 19-2. As for Milford, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record  this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crete will head out to  take on Beatrice  on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (the Cardinals 2.5, the Orangemen 3.5) so any  runs scored will be well earned. As for Milford, they will face off against Raymond Central at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
