Leland had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Edwards Tigers a 10-0 shutout. The Cubs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by seven runs or more this season.

Leland's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Edwards, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
