There's no place like home for Titusville, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They pulled ahead with a 21-20 photo finish over the Melbourne Central Catholic Hustlers on Friday. The Terriers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hustlers, too.

Melbourne Central Catholic's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah Flores, who rushed for 35 yards and one TD, and also picked up 43 receiving yards. Sebastian Troyan was another key signal caller, throwing for 228 yards and one touchdown while completing 72% of his passes.

Titusville's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-4. As for Melbourne Central Catholic, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Titusville and Merritt Island will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. The Terriers will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Melbourne Central Catholic, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 43-6 loss against Cardinal Newman on the 10th.
