Thomas More Prep-Marian had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They came out on top against the Norton Bluejays by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Monarchs: when they faced off against the Bluejays back in September, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 27-25.

Thomas More Prep-Marian's offense was headlined by Bria Windholz and Adi Gottschalk, who picked up six kills apiece. Windholz really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with ten. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Thomas More Prep-Marian's win bumped their record up to 22-12. As for Norton, with the loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 18-12.

Thomas More Prep-Marian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Smith Center on the 11th. As for Norton, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Oakley on the 11th.
