Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Rylan Unruh, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds and three steals. He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Julian Quezada, who scored seven points.
Meanwhile, Booker entered their tilt with Bayshore with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Booker blew past Bayshore, posting a 82-46 win on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Booker has posted since December 11, 2023.
Booker's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jamareon Ruffin, who scored 15 points. Jovan Palavra was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
DeSoto County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Booker, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season.
