Reese R Wells made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI and two doubles. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Allie Lewis was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Morgen Watson, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.
