Reese R Wells made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI and two doubles. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.
