Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Patrick Henry walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Ottawa Hills Green Bears with a sharp 58-38 win on Saturday. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 contests by 20 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Carys Crossland, who went 10-for-19 en route to 25 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kasey Nelson, who posted 13 points and five boards.

Patrick Henry smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 24 consecutive matchups.

Several Green Bears players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kendell Skiver, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds. That was a full 39.5% of Ottawa Hills' points, marking the third time in a row Skiver has scored more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Sophia Vanslooten, who put up ten points and six boards.

Patrick Henry pushed their record up to 24-1 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.3 points. As for Ottawa Hills, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-10.

Coming up, Patrick Henry will face off against Carey at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Carey will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Patrick Henry surely won't give up without a fight. Ottawa Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
