Pyramid Lake hadn't done well against Coleville recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Lakers blew past the Wolves 18-1. The result was nothing new for the Lakers, who have now won nine matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Pyramid Lake saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lorena Eben, who went 2-for-4 with one double.

The win (which was Pyramid Lake's third in a row) raised their record to 9-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Coleville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Pyramid Lake beat the Wolves by a score of 15-0 later that day.
