On Friday, Fair Grove put the finishing touches on their 7th blowout victory of the season. They put a hurting on Yellville-Summit to the tune of 40-0. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Fair Grove had established a 34-0 advantage.
The victory bumped Fair Grove's record up to 8-1. Yellville-Summit's loss makes it seven in a row and drags their record down to 1-7.
Fair Grove will be playing at home against Willow Springs at at 7:00 PM next week. Willow Springs stagger in eager to bring about an end to their seven-game losing streak. Yellville-Summit will stay at home against Mountain View at 7:00 PM. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
