Fairview had won six straight on the road, but on Thursday they bumped up to 8-1 to make it seven. They put the hurt on the Fossil Ridge SaberCats with a sharp 45-20 victory. Considering the Knights have won eight matchups by more than 20 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
A big part of Fairview's win came down to the chemistry between Ki Ellison and his top target Toray Davis. Ellison rushed for 37 yards and one touchdown while Davis gained 102 total yards and five touchdowns. Davis showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 50 yards.
As for Fossil Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. The loss continues a trend for them in their meetings with Fairview: they've now lost nine in a row.
