Unity Christian Academy's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Robert Allen, who went 11 for 19 on his way to 28 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals, and Donovan O'Neil Jr, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine assists. Allen is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason O'Neal, who posted 12 points and four steals.

Meanwhile, Universal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against Southland College Prep, falling 84-35. The Stars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-17.

Universal's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Unity Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Everything came up roses for Unity Christian Academy against Universal in their previous matchup back in January, as the team secured a 91-50 win. In that contest, Unity Christian Academy amassed a halftime lead of 53-18, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Wednesday.
