Turlock is 0-10 against Gregori since May of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Turlock Bulldogs are headed away from home for the first time to take on the Gregori Jaguars at 3:30 p.m. This will be Turlock's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
Turlock's tournament run continued when they took on Benicia on Saturday. Turlock fell just short of Benicia by a score of 6-5. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Turlock got a good showing from Maycie Higgins, who pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Higgins has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Abby Maxwell made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024. Karley Wool also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Even though they lost, Turlock was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Gregori, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over Ripon on Friday.
Allyson Conway spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on 12 hits. What's more, she gave up only one walk, the fewest she's had since back in May of 2024.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Audrey Pacheco, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Angelina Hoffman, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3.
Gregori's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.1 runs over those games. As for Turlock, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
Turlock might still be hurting after the 7-1 defeat they got from Gregori when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can Turlock avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
