The Crestline Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They suffered a rough 79-59 loss at the hands of Northmor. Crestline was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-18.
Grant Bentley continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Northmor, scoring 32 points along with six rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which Bentley has scored at least 25% of Northmor's points. Another player making a difference was AJ Bower, who scored 13 points.
Crestline bumped their record down to 1-8 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.7 points per game. As for Northmor, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crestline will challenge Loudonville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Northmor, they will head out on the road to face off against Cardington-Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
