The Apprentice Academy Red Wolves lost against the Queen's Grant Stallions back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Apprentice Academy had to suffer through a rough 92-45 loss at the hands of Queen's Grant. Apprentice Academy has struggled against Queen's Grant recently, as their match on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Several Red Wolves players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Radear Watson, who scored 21 points along with three steals and two blocks. That was a full 46.7% of Apprentice Academy's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayden Eddington, who scored 15 points along with two steals.
Apprentice Academy's loss was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-6. As for Queen's Grant, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Apprentice Academy will take on Piedmont Community Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Piedmont Community Charter is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games. As for Queen's Grant, they will head out on the road to take on South Charlotte T at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
