Algonac waltzed into their matchup  on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with  a   5-2  victory over the Armada Tigers. That's more bragging rights for the Muskrats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
 Jaycee Reams made a splash no matter where she played. She  pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off   seven  hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with one  home run and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Michael Kenel was  excellent,  going 2-for-4 with one  triple and one  run. That  triple was  her first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Morgan Reams, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs.
Algonac's win bumped their record up to 6-7-1. As for Armada, their  defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-3.
Algonac will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
