The Carbon Dinos can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent match on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 71-39 victory over North Sanpete on the road. The win was familiar territory for Carbon who now have seven in a row.
Amiah Timothy was her usual excellent self, scoring 27 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Carbon's points. Another player making a difference was Madison Orth, who scored ten points along with seven steals.
Carbon's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for North Sanpete, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.
Carbon will be playing at home against Juab at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Juab is ranked 45th, while Carbon is ranked 22nd). As for North Sanpete, they will head out on the road to challenge Canyon View at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
