Flat Rock won the last time they faced Huron and things went their way on Friday too. The Rams blew past the Chiefs 37-13. Considering the Rams have won four contests by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Flat Rock's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ben Scully, who picked up 90 receiving yards and two TDs, and also rushed for 67 yards and one score. Scully got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 67 yards. Flat Rock also got a significant boost from David Riddle, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 85 yards.

The win made it two in a row for Flat Rock and bumps their season record up to 5-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 27 points in those games. As for Huron, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Flat Rock will host Lutheran North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs' defense has only allowed 11.5 points per game this season, so the Rams' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Huron, they will be playing at home against Adrian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Maples will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
