The East Ridge Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by Four Corners at home to the tune of 79-38. The team's offensive explosion also rewarded East Ridge with their most commanding win of the season.
It was another big night for Nicholas Vazquez, who scored 32 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Ruffaner, who scored 12 points.
East Ridge's win ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-23. As for Four Corners, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.
East Ridge will square off against Ocoee at TBD on Tuesday. Ocoee presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than East Ridge in Florida (Ocoee is ranked 80th, while East Ridge is ranked 624th). As for Four Corners, they and Santa Fe Catholic will face off at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Santa Fe Catholic has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,035 points over their last 15 contests.
