Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tabb). They were the clear victors by a 28-6 margin over the Bruton Panthers on Tuesday. With that victory, the Tigers brought their scoring average up to 8.6 runs per game.
Jada Olexa made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off only two hits. Olexa was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. She also put up two RBI, which were her first of the season.
In other batting news, Tabb got a massive performance out of Lakelyn Bagheri, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with five runs, six RBI, and two doubles. Mika Hilburger was another key player, scoring six runs while getting on base in all six of her plate appearances.
Tabb was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .550. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matchups.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tabb will head out to face off against Kecoughtan at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bruton, they will venture away from home to challenge Northampton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers are facing the Yellowjackets at the right time seeing as the Yellowjackets are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
