Hicks Hunter had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 135 yards and one touchdown, while also throwing for 15 yards and one TD. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 11th straight game with at least 122 rushing yards dating back to last season. Cody Scalf was another key player, having thrown for 307 yards and two touchdowns.
Camden Central not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since August 23, 2024 (when they won 44-0). They breezed past Cheatham County Central to the tune of 41-7. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 27-7.
Sycamore's record is now 4-2. As for Camden Central, they moved to 2-4 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.
