Ursuline Academy's game  on Monday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Maimonides M-Cats as they made off with  a  15-4 win. Considering the Bears' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

 Elena Bustamonte made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  struck out nine batters over  three innings while giving up just two earned runs off   one  hit. Those  nine  strikeouts gave  her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base.
 In other batting news,  Abigail Kirk was  excellent,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI. Those  two  stolen bases gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Lila Cownie, who  went 2-for-4 with one  stolen base and two  RBI.
 Ursuline Academy  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They are 6-1 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
Ursuline Academy's record now sits at 8-9. As for Maimonides,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
 Looking ahead, Ursuline Academy will take on Sharon at 3:45  p.m.  on Friday. Maimonides does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
