Fort Loramie was led to victory by Maxwell Maurer and Alex Boeger. Maurer scored 17 points along with five rebounds, while Boeger scored 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Aiden Berning was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Fort Loramie's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-14. As for Houston, their loss dropped their record down to 4-16.
Fort Loramie didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 49-42 defeat vs. Coldwater on the 10th. Houston will head out on the road to challenge Jackson Center at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Houston is coming into the matchup with seven straight losses on the road, meaning Jackson Center will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory.
