CHESS Christian had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.2 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They really took it to the Germantown Christian Conquerors for the full four quarters, racking up a 78-40 victory. The Royals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 22 points or more this season.

Germantown Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Paxton Scott, who posted 14 points. Thanks to that strong game, Scott now owns an excellent 45.1% field goal percentage. The team also got some help courtesy of Ian Francis, who put up 13 points and five boards.

CHESS Christian's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-1. As for Germantown Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.
