Jeremiah Golden made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. He is becoming a predictor of East Mecklenburg's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 2-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't). Golden was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024.
