Ashland-Greenwood and Wahoo played the most contested game in C1 District 3 this week, with Ashland-Greenwood eventually emerging with a 7-6 victory. Gunnar Garner threw for 78 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 59 yards in the win.
Bishop Neumann took down Boys Town 60-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Travis Carnahan threw for 87 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 118 yards during the win.
Carnahan put up the best numbers in passing as the Cavaliers bested the Cowboys.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Raymond Central's Ben Lodema and Sam Isaacson have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-3 quarterback Lodema has thrown for 1,264 yards this season, while Isaacson has 45 catches for 788 yards. Carnahan from Bishop Neumann leads the league in rushing with 781 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Tim Turman's team takes on Logan View. At the moment, the Cavaliers are in third, while the Raiders are in fifth.
Bishop Neumann led C1 District 3 in scoring this week by notching 60 points on Boys Town. Carnahan ran for 118 yards in the win.
