Kootenai is 0-10 against the Miners since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Kootenai Warriors will be playing at home against the Wallace Miners at 6:00 p.m. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Kootenai and three for the Miners.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 60-30, which was the final score in Kootenai's tilt against the Saints on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Kootenai has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Wallace was beaten by the Knights 81-25 on Tuesday. Wallace has not had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Kootenai's defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Wallace, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.
Kootenai took a serious blow against the Miners when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 63-18. Can Kootenai avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
