Clairton (Pa.) snapped the 11-game winning streak of
Dunmore (Pa.), with a 20-0 victory on Saturday.
The Bears were up 14-0 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Tyler Boyd in the first quarter.
With the win Clairton extended its winning streak to 16 games. CHS defeated the Gators 44-12 last week.
The Bears' standout player in the win was
Titus Howard. The junior wide receiver threw one touchdown.
Clairton went into the matchup giving up only 7.2 points per game. The zero points that the Bucks ended with were well below their average of 27.5 coming into the game.
The defeat comes as a step back for Dunmore, which notched a 40-19 victory over Bellwood-Antis in its previous outing.
