Wiley is 0-3 against Eads since March of 2024 but things could change on Tuesday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Eagles at 3:00 p.m. Wiley has given up an average of 9.5 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Wiley came up short against Flatirons Academy on Saturday, falling 19-9.

Grant Mauch was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Devonte Pizarro, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Eads strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They never let Springfield get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. That ten-run margin sets a new team best for the Eagles this season.
Adyn Hough made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Hough was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
In other batting news, Eads let Johnathan Vasquez and Brantley Buller run wild. Vasquez went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double, while Buller went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Karsten Buller, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
Eads always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .520. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
Wiley's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6-1. As for Eads, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Wiley has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 6.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Eads struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Wiley might still be hurting after the 13-0 loss they got from Eads in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. Will the Panthers have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
