The Galeton Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Northern Potter Panthers at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Galeton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up five on Saturday.
Even though Williamson scored an imposing 58 points on Saturday, Galeton still came out on top. Galeton walked away with a 70-58 win over Williamson. The win was just what Galeton needed coming off of a 63-41 defeat in their prior match.
Galeton got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Zach Pagano out in front who scored 19 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pagano has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Braiden Cimino, who scored 16 points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, Northern Potter suffered a rough 65-39 loss at the hands of Cameron County on Friday. While losing is never fun, Northern Potter can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 643rd, while Cameron County is ranked 253rd).
Galeton's victory bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Northern Potter, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.
