The Notus Pirates will head out on the road to  challenge  the Compass Charter Aviators  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Notus is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.2  points per game  this season.
Last Tuesday, Notus was able to grind out a solid  win over Council, taking the game  66-55.

 Notus' win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Benny Guevara, who  went 8 for 15  en route to 18  points along with six  boards and six  steals. Guevara's evening made it three games in a row in which  he has scored at least ten points.  Caleb Cudaback was another key player,  putting up 12 points and four  steals.
 Meanwhile, Compass Charter won against Rimrock  on Thursday with 72  points and they decided to stick to that  point total again  on Tuesday. Compass Charter blew past Centennial Baptist 72-38. The Aviators have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven  games by 22  points or more this season.
 Compass Charter is also on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record  this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 66.6 points per game. As for Notus, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6.
 Notus beat Compass Charter 63-53  when the teams last played  back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Notus since the  squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
