The Southwestern Warriors will be playing at home against the North Laurel Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Southwestern will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Kentucky Rankings (they are ranked 27th, while North Laurel is ranked fifth).
Last Friday, Southwestern earned a 57-48 win over Pulaski County.
It was another big night for Kinsley Molden, who went 6 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 27 points and 2 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Payton Acey, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, North Laurel's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a hard 48-32 fall against Ryle. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points North Laurel has scored all season.
Southwestern has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. As for North Laurel, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-5.
