Soccer Recap: Fountain Inn Has No Trouble Against Wren

After failing to score in their last game, Fountain Inn made sure to put some goals up on the board against Wren on Tuesday. They blew past the Hurricanes 5-2. Considering Fountain Inn have won four matches by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Wren with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Cru Hall (2), Mason Coons, Caleb Kopytin, and Lucas Ford.

Fountain Inn has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those four games. As for Wren, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-3-1.

Coming up, Fountain Inn will host Westside at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wren, they will square off against Laurens at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Wren will be up against Laurens' rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.09 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
