The Crossland Cavaliers lost against the Gwynn Park Yellowjackets back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Crossland was outmatched by Gwynn Park on the road and fell 81-9. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Crossland in their matchups with Gwynn Park: they've now lost six in a row.
Among those leading the charge was Keira Mason, who scored 20 points along with 7 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Nala Abraham, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Crossland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Gwynn Park, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crossland will take on Friendly at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Gwynn Park, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome King's Fork at 4:00 p.m. on December 8th.
