The Southeast Lancers won the last time they faced the Oswego Indians, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Southeast walked away with a 50-43 win over Oswego. The win made it back-to-back wins for Southeast.
Oswego's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Josh Hutchinson, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Jackson, who scored 15 points along with two steals.
Southeast has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season. As for Oswego, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southeast and Uniontown will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Southeast is on a four-game streak of home wins, Uniontown a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Oswego will take on Pleasanton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Pleasanton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Tuesday.
