The Brooklyn Hurricanes's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their 13th straight loss. They fell 55-45 to Bedford.
Brooklyn's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emily Radovanic, who scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Radovanic has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Amerie Williams, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
Brooklyn's defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Bedford, their victory bumped their record up to 4-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brooklyn will take on Lawrence Upper at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lawrence Upper comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 12 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Bedford, they will head out on the road to challenge Valley Forge at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Valley Forge has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 9.
