There's no place like home for The Prairie View Thunderhawks, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against Horizon by a score of 25-14 on Friday. This was payback for Prairie View, who suffered a 51-23 loss the last time these two teams met.
Leading Prairie View to victory were Quintin Winzent and Ryker Searle. Winzent picked up 71 receiving yards and a touchdown, while Searle picked up three receiving yards and a touchdown.
Despite the loss, Horizon still got an impressive performance from Tidus Xiong, who rushed for 106 yards.
Even if they lost, Horizon's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Leading the way was Tristen Salazar and his two sacks.
Prairie View's victory bumped their record up to 5-5. As for Horizon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.
Prairie View does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Horizon also has no future games currently scheduled.
