North Hagerstown (Hagerstown, Md.) had its advantage, which at one point stood at 14 points, drop to two before the final whistle blew on a 14-12 victory over
South Hagerstown (Hagerstown, Md.).
After taking the lead on a
Nick Karlen touchdown pass to
Gabe Fridgen in the second quarter, the Hubs led 14-6 at the half.
North Hagerstown saw its 8-point halftime lead fall to two entering the fourth.
Karlen played well for NH in the victory. The junior quarterback threw one touchdown and ran for one touchdown. He has now scored four touchdowns on the season.
The Hubs came into the game allowing 15.8 points per game.
The victory is a complete turnaround from last season's game between these two teams, which the Rebels took, 40-7.
