The win got Liberty back to even at 1-1. As for East Union, they dropped their record down to 2-4 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Liberty didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-6 victory against Granada on the 4th. As for East Union, they will square off against Ripon at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Ripon has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.4 runs per game on average), something East Union will no doubt try to take advantage of.
