Victory Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Angel Escarcega, who scored 24 points. The match was Escarcega's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Derek Edmond, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and six assists.
