The Harding Presidents will head out on the road to take on the Bullard-Havens Tigers at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Harding is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses.
Harding pushed their score all the way to 64 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Immaculate by a score of 66-64. Harding has not had much luck with Immaculate recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
The losing side was boosted by Craig Chandler, who scored 22 points along with six rebounds and four blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamaar Wright Jr., who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Bullard-Havens' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. The game between Bullard-Havens and Windham RVT wasn't particularly close, with Bullard-Havens falling 70-56. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Harding has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Bullard-Havens, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
Harding beat Bullard-Havens 54-46 when the teams last played back in December of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for Harding since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
