NSU University has gone a perfect 4-0 against South Broward recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The NSU University Sharks will be playing in front of their home fans against the South Broward Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. NSU University is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Last Tuesday, NSU University beat Gulliver Prep 5-1.
Tevvy Rabinowitz looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and only a hit over four innings pitched. What's more, he also posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2024.
On the hitting side, Devin Mila was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-2. Landon Combs was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.
Meanwhile, South Broward came up short against Nova on Wednesday and fell 8-4.
Keniel Marrero was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Marrero is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's stolen at least one every time he's taken the field this season.
NSU University pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 7.6 runs. As for South Broward, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-1.
South Broward's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: NSU University hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having hit 0 of their hits per game. It's a different story for South Broward, though, as they've only hit 0 of their hits this season. Will they be able to contain NSU University's hitters?
NSU University was able to grind out a solid victory over South Broward in their previous matchup back in April of 2023, winning 9-6. Will NSU University repeat their success, or does South Broward have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
