The Hayden Lobos's seven-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They claimed a resounding 41-8 victory over Phoenix Day School for the Deaf at home. The victory was just what Hayden needed coming off of a 44-2 defeat in their prior matchup.
Hayden's victory ended a 15-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-17. As for Phoenix Day School for the Deaf, they bumped their record down to 2-11 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hayden will take on Superior at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Superior is ranked 301st, while Hayden is ranked 277th). As for Phoenix Day School for the Deaf, they will head out on the road to square off against Cicero Prep Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
