Volleyball Recap: Xavier's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Xavier posted their closest victory since October 12, 2024 on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past the Fox Valley Lutheran Foxes 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Hawks sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Rose Kendall paced Xavier's offense, picking up seven kills. Kendall got some help from Sydney Neilitz and her 15 assists. Grace Hackl and Bryce Hietpas kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Xavier's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Fox Valley Lutheran, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Xavier has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Divine Savior Holy Angels on the 29th. As for Fox Valley Lutheran, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Edgar on the 29th.
