The Benjamin Franklin Electrons came tearing into Thursday's match with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 75-67 victory over Roxborough. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Benjamin Franklin got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kneco Hill out in front who scored 29 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hill has scored all season. Soukare Fane was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with five assists.
Benjamin Franklin pushed their record up to 12-2 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Roxborough, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-4.

Paul Robeson will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 502nd, while Benjamin Franklin is ranked 205th). Roxborough won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Bodine at 3:15 p.m. on January 26th. Bodine is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
