Chapman dropped down to 10-2 on Wednesday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 70-48 to the Gatlinburg-Pittman Highlanders. The Panthers were down 51-30 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Despite the loss, Chapman still got an impressive performance from Grayden Humphries, who went 9-for-19 to rack up 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hawk Smith, who posted 11 points.

As for Gatlinburg-Pittman, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 11-3. They have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Jayden Barton had another great game (as he tends to do), shooting 57% from the field en route to 19 points along with eight assists and seven boards. His big performance that evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. Roger Matute was another key player, going 5-for-8 on his way to 13 points.

Chapman didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 87-67 win against Greenville H on the 3rd. As for Gatlinburg-Pittman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 73-47 victory against Pigeon Forge on the 9th.
