Starmount lost to Swain County 49-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Will Simpson ran for 70 yards in the loss.

Scott Johnson's team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Zach Freed threw for 42 yards and Gunner Cass had 22 yards receiving. On the ground Simpson contributed 70 yards. Joe Walker helped Starmount's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 12 yards.
The Rams' dynamic duo of Freed and Cass proved tough for the Maroon Devils to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Walker helped Starmount's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 12 yards.
North Wilkes's LJ Hendren and Josh Bare have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Hendren has thrown for 2,668 yards this season, while Bare has 55 catches for 1,162 yards. Wilkes Central's Victor Williams leads the league in rushing yards with 1,495.
Starmount also led the league in scoring this week after putting up 14 points.
